For over 32 years, Michael Pines has devoted his endeavors towards the emerging real estate market. Practicing as a licensed real estate attorney and litigator in San Diego County since 1977, he has successfully argued cases at all levels of the court system, including numerous cases before the California Supreme Court. As such, he has acquired a body of knowledge that can be leveraged to successfully complete transactions within the real estate environment.


Michael handled litigation against the Resolution Trust Corporation (“RTC”) during the last real estate savings and loan crisis and has been able to see firsthand how history has repeated itself; proactively positioning himself within the distressed real estate and assets environment, providing resolutions to buyers and asset holders. As a keynote speaker at symposiums and a recognized radio personality, Michael has addressed audiences as an expert on real estate law and the foreclosure market.

Michael Pines has created his own 501.3(c) charity “The Pines Foundation” which focuses on the rescue of animals. Michael has been involved in numerous animal recue missions, including post-Katrina and the California wildfires. Michael has also worked and taught under-privileged youth extreme sports.

Michael is also a licensed real estate broker in California and Utah.
